When those faithful fifteen embraced to call to establish fraternal roots in Europe on August 15, 1962, no one would have imagined the impact that Theta Rho would have had not only on the military communities in Germany, but to the broader Germany community. With faith in God and perseverance to the cause, this legacy of excellence and service has made significant contributions for fifty years amidst the transitory nature of military communities.
In this fiftieth year, Theta Rho’s attention continues to be on its second cardinal principle – scholarship. It is aggressively focused on aligning its programs to ensure that deserving college-bound high school students receive the critical assistance to ensure that their scholastic aspirations are met. To this end, a number of fundraising events are being staged this year. You are encouraged to support the Chapter’s initiatives in meeting this goal.
One key initiative to commemorate the Theta Rho’s fiftieth anniversary is its sponsorship of a United Kingdom charter to take place on June 23, 2012 in Birmingham, England. With the charge to continue looking westward, this is a tremendous milestone as Theta Rho realizes its role in supporting the Fraternity’s mandate.
